SPED 5200 Teaching Reading and Related Language Arts, K-12 to Children with Special Needs This course is designed to provide an intensive broad-based approach to interventions in reading, spelling and writing for children with special needs. Students will review methodologies, evaluate and plan the appropriate strategies, materials and techniques to match the needs of the student. Students will become familiar with exising reading programs with special attention to multicultural components. Prerequisite(s): SPED 519 Credits: 3.0
