The Social Sciences track enables students to explore the shared intellectual heritage ofthe social sciences and to see how psychology, sociology, political science, anthropology, and other fields can m=come together to address contemporary world problems. Students participate in a series of interdisciplinary seminars focusing on theory, methodology, and application. Each student allso prepares a carefully-supervised thesis on a topic of personal interest. Past theses have examined important aspects of family life, work life, government, the legal system, mental health, technological change, religion, hatred, ideological extremism, terrorism, poverty, international conflict, and other topics.
