PHIL 3280 Philosophy of Space and Time

This course investigates issues concerning the ontology and epistemology of space and time. Such issues include whether time and space exist independently of the mind, whether they exist independently of one another (or instead form a unified manifold, spacetime), what accounts for the apparent unidirectionality of time, whether times other than the present exist, and the nature of (and whether there is any such thing as) identity over time.
