SOC 3430 Ethnic and Racial Conflict Resolution Beginning with a general introduction to the multidisciplinary aspects of conflict, this course proceeds to a study of hate groups on the World Wide Web and then to various international conflicts. The essence of the course is extensive use of the Internet to gain information and to communicate with other students taking the course simultaneously throughout the world. Role playing, analytic reports, and a cooperative final project are required. Course offered Fall Semester only. Prerequisite(s): SOC 1010 OR CCJ 2610 Credits: 3.0
