CODS 6850 Research Methods and Statistics in Communication The purpose of this course is to increase graduate students’ appreciation of the role of research and evidence-based practice in speech-language pathology. Students will be provided with information about research design, data collection and analysis, application to evidence-based practice, preparing a research paper, and becoming clinician-investigators. Students will leave this course with an increased understanding of the methods of systematic inquiry that are part of both clinical practice and research in general.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 1300:Elementary Statistics Credits: 3.0
