ENV 1150 General Geology Includes the study of the origin and evolution of the earth, the rocks and minerals that compose it, the geological processes that are constantly changing it, the origin and evolution of plants and animals that live upon it, and the role of geology in shaping man’s environment. Laboratory and field trips introduce rocks, minerals, fossils, maps, and landscape features. Three-hour lecture and discussion and two-and-a-half hour workshop. Students will be charged an additional Env Science Lab Fee when enrolling in this course. Credits: 4.0
