PBHL 1500 Sports Nutrition This course presents basic nutritional concepts and explores the specific nutritional needs of athletes, emphasizing the relationship of key nutritional principles to optimum health and performance in physical activity and sports. This course provides an overview of nutrient use in exercise and nutrition strategies to improve athletic and sport-specific performance. As a UCC Area 1 course, students will explore their personal nutritional needs and engage in dietary analysis and meal planning as related to their level of physical and athletic activity.
This course fulfills UCC-Area 1-Personal Well Being. Sports Medicine or Exercise Science majors only Credits: 3.0
