ANTH 4950 Anthropology Field Study Provides fieldwork and research opportunities for students who seek to develop practical skills in any of the subfields of general anthropology. Students select specific field school programs in consulation with instructors and based on the availability of projects; these programs are hosted by accredited academic/research institutions, or initiated by William Paterson faculty. In addition to providing hands-on experience, the Field Study in Anthropology seeks to foster international exchanges and promote collaboration on a variety of research projects. Students receive one credit for every 40 hours of field study accumulated, and students may register for Anthropology Field Study repeatedly, for a maximum of 6 credits. Field Study programs may require travel, room, and board fees. Course offered Summer Semester only. Credits: 1.0 - 6.0
