BIO 1630 General Biology: Cell, Molecular, and Genetics For students intending to major in biology, provides a background in biological principles. Similarities and differences between living organisms, both plant and animal, are discussed. Subcellular and cellular structure and function, cellular respiration, photosynthesis, genetics, DNA structure, replication, transcription, and protein synthesis. Students will be charged an additional Biology Lab Fee when enrolling in this course.
Matriculation into the BS Biotechnology Program B. Restricted to the following majors/minors: Biology BS, Biotechnology BS, Biology Minor, Integrated Math and Science BA, Computer Science BS, Environmental Science BS, Environmental Sustainability BS, Mathematics BA, Post-Baccalaurate Pre-Prof Prg (PBPP), or Undeclared.
