CS 4060 Applied Cryptography This course introduces students to the theories and practices of cryptography. Topics includes classical ciphers, modular arithmetic, hash functions, stream and block ciphers, public-key cryptography, key exchange, digital signatures, message authentication and their application to computer system and networking.
Prerequisite(s): CS 3660 or CS 3380 with a grade of C- or better. Credits: 3.0
