AWS 2150 Africa & World Since 1885 This survey of African history from 1885 to the present examines the European scramble and partition of Africa, the impact of European conquest and colonialism, African anti-colonial resistance, and the process of decolonization. It ends with a consideration of the legacy of European colonialism, and of the current state of African societies and their relations with the world.
