CHIN 2040 East Asian Literature in Translation

This course intorduces students to some canonical East Asian literary works in three major genres-fiction poetry, and drama. We will analyze literary elements and techniques and explore social, cultural, political, and global influences that have shaped East Asian writing. Class is taught in English.
