PBHL 4000 Epidemiology This course provides an introduction to the discipline of epidemiology and its role in public health practice and decision-making. The course will address the distribution and determinants of disease/injury in populations and will explore how epidemiologists make inferences about risk factors and etiology of disease/injury in populations. Considerable attention is given the process of scientific writing, incorporating epidemiological data into writing, and the communication of this information to the public. This is a UCC Writing Intensive course.
