PHYS 2910 Engineering Mechanics: Dynamics This course presents the physical principles of mechanics dealing with the relation between force and accelerated motion. It provides the basis for the description of the motion of a particle or rigid body subject to conservative and non-conservative forces using vector analysis. Concepts include: kinematics of a particle, rigid body kinematics, curvilinear coordinates, work and energy, impulse and momentum. Prerequisite(s): PHYS 2600 Credits: 3.0
