POL 2240 Political Parties


This course offers a study of the organization and operation of political parties in the United States. Formal structure, the role of ideology, voting behavior, and the influence of pressure groups on political parties are examined. This is a technology intensive course covering how past and recent technological developments have affected political parties, campaigns, and voters. Knowledge of statistical analysis software (SPSS) is not a pre-requisite. 

This course is Technology Intensive. Prerequisite(s): POL 1100  OR POL 1200
