Subsequent topics are the construction of confidence intervals, hypothesis testing for population means and variances, analysis of variance techniques, linear regression analysis including extensions of the Ordinary Least Squares regression model necessitated by violations of standard assumptions, logistic regression, forecasting, and decision making under uncertainty and risk.
