CS 2352 Applied Operating Systems This course covers the principles and functions of modern operating systems, and applying and using computer operating systems. Topics include operating system configuration, file systems, I/O systems, security, networking interfacing, multitasking, multiuser, device driver installation, and analyzing operating system performance. Popular operating systems such as Windows, UNIX/Linux and Mac OS will be used for illustration.
Prerequisite(s): CS 2350 with a grade of C- or better Credits: 3.0
