CS 4070 Data Science Analytics This course provides a comprehensive coverage of data science and its application. Every stage of the CRISP-DM (Cross Industry Standard Process for Data Mining) process, which includes business understanding, data understanding, data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and deployment, will be studied. Students will learn the concepts of data warehousing, multi-dimensional data cubes, and OLAP (On-Line Analytical Processing) technologies. The topics of analytical techniques of association, classification, clustering, and anomaly detection in data mining and machine learning will be covered. Ethical and security issues in data science will be introduced.
