ARTS 3910 Studio Visits and Practice

This hybrid course will give students access to the inner workings of maintaining a fine arts studio practice. Through virtual visits to the studios of professional artists from varied cultures, backgrounds and experiences, students will have an insider’s view of the methods, tools and techniques used by notable contemporary artists for creating significant and compelling works. Students will develop their own body of work in class and at home, according to their individual concerns, synthesizing methods, materials and techniques observed and discussed during artist presentations and in critiques.

Prerequisite(s): ARTS 3210 and ARTS 3240 or by permission of instructor
