MUSP 2060 Stagecraft and Movement for Musicians

This course is designed to allow the classical performer to explore physicality and physical storytelling in a wide variety of ways. The ultimate goal is for the performer to be able to utilize his/her body in the most expressive, specific, communicative and imaginative way possible. The class is interactive; students are asked to work together on projects in pairs or groups, regularly observe each other’s work and actively participate in discussions of the ideas, issues, solutions and discoveries that are explored throughout the semester.
