MGT 3310 Cybersecurity for Managers This course introduces core concepts and tools in cybersecurity and expands students’ understanding of the principles of cybersecurity. The fundamental concepts the course highlights include confidentiality, integrity, availability, etc. Cyber threats, cyberattacks, and vulnerabilities are discussed. Behavioral aspects of cybersecurity as well as modeling and simulation tools are explored in the context of cybersecurity infrastructure within organizations. A portion of the course will focus on social aspects of cybersecurity and cybersecurity policies such as the US NIST Cybersecurity Framework and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation. Additionally, the course will focus on current topics in cybersecurity which will be vary every semester. Finally, the course will address the application of Cyber Analytics to cope with cybersecurity breaches. The course does not require an extensive technical background. Prerequisite(s): MGT 2000
