PSY 2400 Topics in Cannabis Use This course examines cannabis from the perspectives of clinical psychology and communication disorders. Specifically, the course provides coverage of the following areas: historical context for cannabis use, the evolution of its use from ritual to rehabilitation and treatment, pharmacology, effects on physiological, psychological, communicative, and cognitive functions, and potential adverse effects. In addition, controversies and challenges to our current understanding will also be examined.
