ATP 5400 Therapeutic Modalities

Study involves theory and technique in the selection and application of physical agents and therapeutic modalities. Included are physics, physiology and actions of heat, cold, light, acoustic, and electromagnetic agents for patient care. Included is relation of modality use to assessment and therapeutic exercise.The course includes laboratory instruction in application of modalities in athletic training.

Prerequisite(s): ATP 5300 and Admission to the Master’s in Athletic Training Program
