PBHL 5100 Inroduction to Biostatistcs

This course covers the basic techniques of data collection, data analysis, and presentation of analysis results. Topics covered include descriptive statistics, sampling, comparison, correlation, and regression. The analytic methods and applications will be linked to topics in health promotion, epidemiology, and program evaluation. The skills learned are essential in understanding and interpretation of the research data used in public health and policy evaluation and formation.
