PBHL 3042 Health Research Methods II


This course is the second part of a two course sequence. It introduces students to methodological concepts in population-based health research by building upon the content and skills introduced in PBHL 3040 . As a technology-intensive course, students will develop and use the skills needed to plan and conduct a cross-sectional health survey including analyzing and presenting the results in a final research report. Students will develop and use the research and technology skills needed to critically analyze and interpret scientific literature relevant to current public health problems. Prerequisite(s): PBHL 3040  with a grade of C or better and must be enrolled in one of the following majors: Public Health or Applied Health.
