ACCT 7300 Auditing and Attestation

This is an intensive MBA course geared towards students committed to take the CPA examination. The course is designed to provide the student with in-depth understanding of all aspects of auditing. Reviews the concepts, procedures, and practices used in auditing financial statements and underlying transactions of business organizations, including types of audit substantive testing, and various auditing standards are extensively discussed and demonstrated through analysis of real issues and cases that face the accounting profession. Develop an auditor’s decision-making process in both an audit of financial statements and au audit of internal control over financial reporting. Prerequisite(s): ACCT 7100
