SLP 4750 Senior Seminar I

The purpose of this course is to develop students’ abilities to critically evaluate empirical studies in the field of communication disorders and sciences in order to formulate hypotheses for their own research. The course will present studies from a variety of areas in communication sciences ad disorders that will be discussed in term of hypotheses. methods, and materials, results and conclusions. The advantages and disadvantages of selected research designs and statistical methods will be discussed. Prerequisite(s): MATH 1300
