COMM 3260 Multicamera TV Studio2 This is an advanced course designed to provide students with a solid foundation of multicamera studio production including theory, aesthetics, and operational techniques of multicamera studio television equipment. It is a lecture and workshop-oriented class which will provide students with opportunities to write, direct and produce in a variety of multicamera studio program formats, and to learn the responsibilities of every production crewmember by practicing each role on a rotational basis throughout the semester. This course is designed to further develop the production skills and aesthetic knowledge gained by students in the introductory television production courses. It is conducted as a series of production workshops in which students produce a variety of advanced television projects utilizing both studio and field production tools.
