CCJ 3780 Cybercrime This course introduces students to the various new forms of crime, as well as new methods for the commission of traditional forms of crime, made possible by digital technologies across the globe. The course explores these various types of criminal behavior and the impacts they have on global and local economy and social life. The course examines how certain criminological theoretical frameworks explain cybercriminal behavior, and it analyzes how cybercrime is processed through the criminal justice system, from the investigation of cybercrime by law enforcement agencies through adjudication and sentencing of cybercriminals in courts.
