COMM 4010 Career Preparation

This course is a culminating learning experience in which students prepare digital, written, and oral presentations to showcase their knowledge and competencies through the assembly of a portfolio of coursework, co- and extra-curricular activities, and field experiences. Through supervised topical research in communication, labor-market analysis, field research, and self-assessment, students strengthen their professional identity and knowledge of career paths. To prepare students for the workplace, they identify and role-play strategies for employment preparation, decision making, and goal setting.
