COMM 2380 Films of Diversity and Justice

This course explores historical struggles for justice, equity, and respect for diversity through film screenings, lectures, and readings on non-violent action. Film, like all forms of art, has reflected, and at times led society’s understanding of diversity. How film has represented this diversity in light of cultural, governmental and societal justice systems will be the focus of this course.
