COMM 3330 Visual Effects


An intensive production workshop designed for students who wish to integrate visual effects (greenscreen, text/graphics, 2D & 3D animation, manipulated photographs, etc.) into film, TV, social media, or other types of content. The purpose of this course is to examine the different production approaches used in the making of diverse products from documentaries to music videos to television/internet commercials to independent dramatic and experimental films through the use After Effects. Students will also learn the basic skills of using industry standard software.
Students will be charged an additional Communication Lab Fee when enrolling in this course.
