ARTS 3530 User Interface Design I User Experience Design (UXD) introduces students to the theories, language, practice of human-centered design in the creation of products, services, and experiences. This design centered course introduces students to UXD processes, approaches, key theories and frameworks that underlie the design of most interfaces you use today. Emphasis on current industry standard software are used to integrate assets into a final application. Students learn the UX design process by actively designing, testing, and developing an app in the form of a working, interactive prototypes. This design focused course will prepare students in portfolio building and job preparation.
This course may be repeated one (1) time for a total of (6) six credits. Credits: 3.0
