ATP 5700 Therapeutic Exercise

This course provides the physiological rationale for appropriate and effective use of therapeutic exercise in the rehabilitation of injuries. Included in this course are the basic components of designing and implementing rehabilitation programs. In addition, selected programs for rehabilitation are presented with a review of current research. Students take part in laboratory sessions where they will learn and demonstrate practical rehabilitation applications.

Prerequisite(s): ATP 5400 ,ATP 5500 ,ATP 5600 , and Admission to the Master’s in Athletic Training Program
