PBHL 5600 Introduction to Public Health Policy

This course examines health care policies and the policy-making process in the United States with emphasis on the determinants of health, the social distribution of health, and health disparities. Presented in both historical and contemporary context, the course will review public health policy from structural, systems, economic, and legal perspectives.
