PBHL 6000 Community Engagement, Equity & Justice

Through this course, students will critically evaluate the social determinants of health and examine how they contribute to health inequities. Students will explore the various geographic, cultural, and social contexts where health inequities occur. They will research, develop, and apply a range of community-engaged strategies and methodologies for advancing health equity, social justice, and human rights. Students will critically assess how people, policies, and institutions have influenced the social determinants of health and contributed to health inequities.
