POL 6430 Administrative Law and Policy Administrative law is the legal framework within which government agencies operate. This course will examine administrative policy within a legal context. We will cover the key institutions of administrative law and legal framework within which they operate, including: the constitutional doctrines of separation of powers and procedural due process; methods of analysis of federal, state and local agency procedures; the procedural framework of the Administrative Procedure Act; the scope of judicial review. Credits: 3.0
