CS 5410 Computer Architecture and Organization

An introduction to the architecture of digital computer systems. Topics include arithmetic for computers, performance measurements, levels of computer description, instructions and instruction set architectures, multiprocessors (i.e. multi-core and other forms of parallelism), data-path and pipelining, memory and I/O organization, memory-hierarchy, storage, and other devices.
