CS 5900 Ethics and Professional Development This course reviews ethics and professional development for Computer Scientists and Information Technologists. The course is conducted in seminar form featuring internal and external speakers. Students will form teams to produce both a report and a presentation on a current topic of interest or project in computer science and computing technology. The remainder of the course is dedicated to the social impact of computers and professional ethical issues faced by today’s computer professionals. Students are required to select a relevant topic and complete a substantial project as a team. At the end of the project, students are expected to submit a written report and orally present it to the class. Credits: 3.0
