ARTS 2850 Computer Graphics I Computer Graphics I is a digital arts course that focuses on 3D design, modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering. The fundamental knowledge obtained in this course expands upon the students’ understanding of 3D modeling and its application to art and design. In this course, students will learn to generate portfolio-quality artwork through the utilization of industry-standard techniques.
UCC Area I (Digital Literacies) Course Objectives: Explore and utilize digital technologies while developing essential skills for ethical and accurate use.
Students will be charged an additional Studio Art Fee when enrolling in this course. Prerequisite(s): ARTS 2990 for Art majors.
Non-majors must receive a permit from the Department of Art Chair. Credits: 3.0
