COMM 1200 Media and Society This course explores the significant role media plays in shaping society, examining its evolution, influence, and impact on culture, politics, and public perception. Students will analyze how media organizations operate, the professionals behind content creation, and the complex relationship between audiences and creators. By assessing the ways media reflects and shapes ideologies and public views, the course provides insight into the effects of media on both individuals and society as a whole.
