ECON 3500 Economics of Globalization This course provides the historical and empirical background necessary to understand the complexities of the current global economy and make inferences about contemporary issues in the global economic environment. The course will include research and policy discussions on international trade, finance, immigration, multinational corporations, and the effect of globalization on the environment, labor working conditions, and income inequality.
UCC Area L (Global Connectivites) Course Objectives: Analyze global connectivities and inequalities as shaped by global systems and their implications for peoples lives and global sustainability.
