NUR 4340 Critical Care Nursing

This course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to increase knowledge of nursing concepts of the client who is at a high risk for a potentially life-threatening illness and requires intensive and vigilant nursing care. This course will prepare the student for a role as a nurse practicing in the intensive care unit of a hospital through classroom case studies and evidence-based practice research. Nursing Majors Only. Students will be charged an additional Clinical Instruction Nurs Fee, Nursing Lab Fee and Malpractice Liab Ins Fee when enrolling in this course.
