ENV 1001 Sustainable U This course explores the connections between human activities, natural systems, and sustainability, emphasizing their impact on environmental and human well-being. Students will investigate topics like climate change, water systems, environmental justice, and sustainable practices, linking global challenges to local examples on campus and in the community. Through a foundation in ecology and climate science, hands-on field trips, and discussions, students will gain practical tools to address environmental challenges and promote a sustainable future.
UCC Area A (Well-Being): This course provides students with the core skills and knowledge for managing personal well-being, such as physical, mental, emotional, ethical, social, academic, and/or financial factors.
