PBHL 4301 Essentials of Public Health Practice This course introduces students to the fundamental functions of public health practice: assessment, policy development and assurance. Community-based needs assessment and common public health intervention strategies comprise the core content of this course. Students will explore the process of developing interventions with an emphasis on employing the technologies commonly used in public health practice. Prerequisite(s): PBHL 3042 with a grade of C or better. Credits: 3.0
