PBHL 4950 Cultural Dimensions of Health This course explores the relationship between culture and health behavior as a means of increasing cultural sensitivity and competence. The impact of cultural and religious beliefs and corresponding health practices on health promotion and disease prevention will be the focus.
This is a Writing Intensive course. Must be a Public Health, Health Studies, Nursing, Kinesiology (all programs), Communication Disorders, Sociology or Psychology Major, or a Public Health or Health Studies minor. Credits: 3.0
