SOC 2140 Quantitative Research Methods This course provides students with “hands-on” experience in all phases of quantitative research, including: research design, smapling, questionnaire construction, data analyses, and formal research report writing. Students also learn to evaluate information so that their future decisions and work are based on social facts. Class discussions explore reasons why valid research is the basis for effective social action. Course offered Fall and Spring Semesters. Prerequisite(s): SOC 2130 AND (MATH 1300 OR SOC 2130 ) Credits: 3.0
