SOC 2150 Qualitative Research Methods This course examines different techniques and applications of qualitative data colelction and analysis. After formulating a relevant research question, students are guided through the various phases of the search process. Particular emphasis is given to the selection of appropriate choice of research design and methods of data collection in relation to the research questions and the limitations as well as the advantages of different field research strategies. Students are also afforded the opportunity to execute mini-research projects in consultation with the instructor. Course offered Fall and Spring Semesters. Prerequisite(s): SOC 2130 OR SOC 2180 OR SOC 2190 Credits: 3.0
