BIO 5240 Molecular Biology An introduction to molecular biology with emphasis on nucleic acid structure and function, and the application of gene splicing. Ethical issues associated with genetic engineering are explored. The course is team taught by members of the biotechnology faculty, who each brings his/her own expertise to this basic course.
