BIO 5600 Pharmacology


Pharmacology is an interdisciplinary subject and prediction of drug action in animals and especially in humans is the ultimate goal in the study of pharmacology. This course introduces students to the study of pharmacology by drawing upon core concepts in anatomy, physiology, and pathology in order to understand the mechanism of drug action in human disease. Lecture only. Prerequisite(s): admission to the graduate program or permission of the instructor
